MINUTES OF OLD WINDSOR CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY 9th August 2017 AT 7:30 PM

Minutes of the last meeting
The minutes of the 12th of July were read, agreed and signed by the Chair.
Finance
Actions from Previous Meeting
Sports Schedule & club Marketing – Additional advertisements to be placed in Club. GW update website & FB
Contactless Card Machine – JG to continue with investigation and order “World Pay” machine
Bar repairs – New quote requested for replacement bar tops – JH
Electrical Review – date has been agreed. Work to commence
Front of Building – Work to go on hold until electrical review is complete and finances reviewed
Health & Safety – Review to take place post completion of electrical work
New Storage Area – Discussion to be deferred until end of 2017
Repair’s to flat – Approval has been given to commence with repairs to flat. This includes electrical and decorating throughout
Fence in Car Park – discussions ongoing – JH to update
Matters Arising
Stock Rotation –It was agreed to reduce the number of crisps, chocolates etc. available behind the bar. Also stock rotation method to be reviewed to ensure stock is being rotated appropriately – JG
Stock audit – To be arranged for Jan 2018 – BC to confirm
Front Doors – Quote to be obtained to replace or upgrade doors to the main entrance
Hot Taps in Gents – Options to be reviewed – JH/NM
Dress Code – All staff to be reminded about smart dress policy. JG to action
Replacement Over – Reconditioned oven to be purchased and fitted by approved fitter
Repairs and Maintenance
Digital Lock – To be purchased for storage area in foyer – NM
Portable Ramp – Options to be discussed at next meeting- AR
Bar Cellar – More time to be spent on preventative measures – JG/AR
Air conditioning – Lounge units to be serviced – JG to arrange
Bar & Club
CD Player – JG to ensure this is on throughout Club opening times
Lemons and Lines – To be stored in fridge area in kitchen and reduced stock to be purchased during warmer months
Glasses – New glasses to be order (especially Strongbow) and old glasses to be removed from bar area
Bar Cleaning – Cleaner to be employed to do general tidying behind the bar on a weekly basis
Real Ale – To be limited to 2 beers during summer months – JG to continue to organise

Adults Halloween Party
New Year’s Eve Live Band – JG to confirm booking and cost
Membership
2017 Renewals are up to date
Date of Next Meeting – Deferred until 11th October due to committee clash in September
