Minutes of the last meeting
The minutes of the 11th October were read, agreed and signed by the Chair.
Finance
Actions from Previous Meeting
Sports Schedule & club Marketing – Additional advertisements to be placed in Club. PC/JG/JH to review
Contactless Card Machine – To be replaced with wireless card machine – JH to review
Repair’s to flat – Approval has been given to commence 21st November
Fence in Car Park – Additional quote to be agreed
Air Fresheners – To be placed throughout lounge area and foyer
Affinity Water – BG to review charges from ‘Castle Water’ and provide update
Fire Alarm – Test to completed on 15th of October
Crown Estate – Inspection due 16th November
Stock audit – To be arranged for Jan 2018
Air conditioning – Lounge units to be serviced – JG
Matters Arising
Bar Fly’s – Problem has visibly reduced. To me monitored over coming weeks
Beer Quality – Review to take place to look at areas where beer quality can be improved, this includes replacing glasses, stock rotation etc. – JG
Donations– The following have been agreed – £200 to Old Windsor Christmas Party and £100 for OW Bingo event
Repairs and Maintenance
Digital Lock – To be fitted by end of November
Portable Ramp – Options to be discussed at next meeting-
Bar Cellar – More time to be spent on preventative measures
Bar Tops, hand & foot rails – Replacements have been agreed. Order to be placed and fitting dates agreed
Bar & Club
Bar Checklist – to be compiled for all day to day jobs. To be used in case of unexpected illness or staff shortages
Glasses – New glasses to be order (especially Strongbow) and old glasses to be removed from bar area
Dishwasher Service – Additional options to be explored – BG
Stock Ordering – Further review to take place on weekly stock ordering process
Entertainment
New Year’s Eve Live Band – Tickets will be £10 each for members and will include a light snack
Christmas Entertainment agreed for 22nd December. Skin & Blister Band
Club to be decorated for Christmas
Membership
2018 renewals to start end of November
AOB
Social Secretary – A need has arisen for a new committee member to deal with events and social medial. Advertisements to be put up in club
Next meeting scheduled 13th December
AGM scheduled for 4th February 2018
