Club Meeting Minutes – 11th November 2015

 

MINUTES OF  OLD WINDSOR CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING

HELD ON WEDNESDAY 11th November 2015 AT 7:30 PM

 

 

 

Present:Laurie Hatcher, Barry Clarke, John Hatcher, Chelsea Reynolds, Jason Hart, Gary Wade, Paul Carabini

  1. Minutes of the last meeting

The minutes of the last meeting were read, agreed and signed by the chair.

 

  1. Finance

 

  1. Actions from Previous Meeting
    • There has been a general tidy up in the club. Running repairs throughout the bar and toilets
    • The flat roof at the back of the club has been repaired
    • Snooker tables have been recovered
    • Carpet tiles have been replaced on the stairs
    • High gas usage issue has been addressed and will be monitored

 

  1. Matters Arising
    • New storage area required at the back/side of building – CR to look at layout, building regulations and propose new design and replacement cost
    • The public recycle bins/bottle banks will no-longer be available to due council decision to stop supplying them
    • The Club will sponsor a half page for the new Charity Calendar

 

  1. Repairs and Maintenance
    • Boiler will be replaced.
    • Lift shaft in cellar to be removed to accommodate the replacement boiler
    • Carpet tiles in the meeting room to be replaced
    • Bar tops quote to be reviewed. New prices to be sought and to include replacement bar tops, replacement hand rails and general repairs within the bar area.
    • Repairs in gent’s toilet. Quotes to be obtained for repairs.
    • Weekly site review and tidy up to be performed outside the building
    • Tiles in back hall and members bar to be reviewed as they have come loose
    • Replacement lights and gutters at the front of the building will take place in Spring 2016

 

  1. Bar
    • New assistant manager appointed to help support the bar manager
    • General tidy up required within the bar area
    • Bar stock and rotation to be reviewed
    • Full bar stock inventory to take place
    • Review of stock ordering and storage

 

  1. Entertainment
    • Entertainment to be reviewed for New Year’s Eve

 

  1. Membership
    • Fully up to date

 

  1. AOB
    • New booking procedure to be reviewed for hire of hall. Deposit will be required for all bookings
    • Cost of Hall Hire to be reviewed for 2016
    • Bar prices to be reviewed for 2016
    • The OAP dinner will be the 21st of December in the back hall
    • Donation to be made to the Bingo Christmas party
