Minutes of the last meeting
The minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed.

Matters Arising
All lottery tickets are to be signed and dated by issuer and receiver to ensure consistency in reconciling procedures.

Repairs and Maintenance
The air con unit in the hall needs to be repaired.
Gutter checked – hopper not blocked, problems could be due to recent downpour.
Awaiting new doors under sink.
£800 quote received to repair and patch car park – work to commence.

Bar
The ice machine is faulty (may need compressor replacing) and the warranty has expired – waiting for estimate for repair. Gary to loan ice machine to the club until resolved.
Still experiencing problems with the glass washer for which there does not seem to be a resolution.

Entertainment
Functions are advertised on the website and members are also being notified via email. Posters are also displayed in the foyer.
Next function is Saturday 27 September – “The Ultimate Elton”

BT Sport available @ £238 per month, however Gary has negotiated a new price of £193 and it was agreed to go ahead. A board will be put up outside the club advertising matches to be screened. Going forward Gary will be responsible for BT & Sky issues.
BT cloud problems due to telephone lines failing – awaiting return visit from BT engineer
Hall bookings – several members are unhappy that they have to pay for a bar person when hiring the hall. The Committee agreed that a one off charge of £50 is payable when members are hiring the hall to cover “wear and tear” and there will no longer be a charge for bar staff. However, non-members will be charged for bar staff. In addition, a returnable deposit of £50 is payable for members and non-members to confirm bookings made.
